Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Reggae singer Pressure Buss Pipe revealed during an interview that he faces criticism from people in the Virgin Islands who question why he sounds Jamaican when he sings.

In the interview on the Caribbean Currency Podcast, Pressure Buss Pipe shared that one common criticism he receives from his own people is, “Pressure ting he’s a Jamaican.”

Pressure Buss Pipe is best known for his 2007 Reggae hit, “Love and Affection.”
