I love the fact that more of our people are telling our story in a better light. It is not making our parents look as bad as other people did when they told their story.
It’s not making the thugs and dealers look bad either. It’s telling the truth about how we really grew up. Our life was not that bad and the people around us were respectable and caring. We all were as one in our neighborhood. We had our village life without the problems showed on tv. We had block parties like we all were close family.
